Lake Trekk Equestrian X Games 2009

We've opened registration for our newest game, happening September 12, 2009. We've got one of the best locations possible for horse lovers - what better than lakeside beauty, natural trails, and a welcoming community?
You've probably never seen a game like this before. We've created a game that combines endurance, orienteering, and navigation in a fast-paced challenge. The really great thing about this game is that riders of all skill levels can compete on an even level and all have a chance of taking home the big $$.
We hope to get lots of interest so we can make this a fabulous, friendly, fun competition.

This looks fun. I'm an OK rider, but not fantastic. I like to ride trails, so would I be able to compete?

In this event you can stay on the dirt road and horse trails to complete the race. In order to find optional way-points, that would count towards a reduction in the ride time, would require stepping off the main trail.
If you or your horse are not comfortable off the trail, try taking one of our while-u-ride instructional classes to gain the confidence you need. Once you have confidence about going off trail try the Orienteering classes to see how you can win the Pony Express.
