What a great class

My husband and I took the Orienteering class on Saturday, not knowing quite what to expect. It was great! There was about an hour of classroom type instruction on how to read a map and a compass. Didn’t realize it but there is much more to it than just knowing where North and South is. The horseback riding part of the class was even better! They had a course set up on the trails where we hunted down some hidden points in the woods using the map and compass. It was really nice having that hands-on experience after the lecture portion. With practice I think that I can do really well at the upcoming Pony Express.
I would highly recommend this class. These guys are really onto something different and exciting. I'll definitely be taking more of their classes.
